Photography is one of the most influential and effective mediums of expression in the world of fashion, art & design. I love the vast and never ending possibility to create something artistic, stylish and interesting through images. It doesn’t have to be something that’s obviously beautiful but definitely something that is a discovery, a realization, a reality hidden in dreams.

I've always had a keen interest in art & fashion. After doing a short course in fashion design from NIFT, New Delhi, I decided to focus on fashion photography as a career. I moved on to fulfill my dreams in London. In 2005, I graduated from London College of Fashion with various opportunities to work, collaborate and exhibit my projects and images in UK, Italy and Germany. The same year I represented my university as a finalist for the ITS (International Talent Support) Photo Competition held in Trieste, Italy. In 2007, selected work through collaboration was showcased in a private exhibition at the prestigious ‘Royal Academy of Arts’ in London.

I moved back to India in 2008 and have been exploring newer territories including a 3 year stint as a senior photo editor for AOL Time Warner’s lifestyle & fashion portals. Since mid 2011, I have been freelancing as a fashion photographer in Bangalore, doing projects and assignments involving editorial shoots, model portfolios, designer look books and product shots of garments for online catalogs. My style of photography covers fashion, beauty and glamour to conceptual, fine art, digital art and documentary. Sometimes it’s also a combination of these styles, depending on the nature of shoot & creative space given. I look at myself as an artistic image maker, who is constantly searching for more creative challenges.
